About us

Siphokazi Makola

Clinical Psychologist,

Lecturer and Research Supervisor

I have had the privilege of working with people across different life stages, cultures, and clinical settings, including medical and psychiatric hospitals, forensic and private practice.

I work from a psychodynamically informed, relational approach, supporting clients to explore their emotions, patterns , interpersonal dynamics, and life experiences with curiosity.

Therapy is paced collaboratively, with attention to safety, meaning, and personal growth. I aim to help clients understand patterns in their lives, develop coping strategies, and foster insight and resilience.

For All the Complexity of Being Human

Therapy offers a space to notice and reflect on thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and patterns. At times, the process may feel challenging or intense; however, over time, therapy can offer clarity, understanding, and room to respond rather than React.
